As part of our growth plans Neptune Digital has an exciting opportunity for a creative Qlik Consultant to report to our CTO. We are looking for Senior Qlik Consultant with ideally 2 years experience to join our new and growing internal development team. We are looking for someone able to understand operational needs and offer suitable data solutions. A passion for innovation, technology and business is essential. Experience in financial services would be beneficial.
As a Qlik Consultant at Neptuneyour focus will be on rapidly expanding on our Qlik usage with the aim on improving service delivery and enabling aggressive growth for the business. You will need to keep up to date on the latest Qlik releases and show where we can use these to enhance our systems and data literacy for both staff and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Strong Qlik experience, ideally in Qlik Sense, Qlik Sense SaaS & NPrinting
- Strong communication demonstrated through managing / engaging stakeholders and eliciting requirements effectively
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passionate about providing a superb service
Experience and skills:
- A candidate with at least 3+ years of experience as a hands-on Qlik Sense developer
- Extensive experience with complex custom developed visualisations in Qlik
- Strong knowledge of data visualisation best practices using Qlik
- Experience working with a relational database (SQL, Oracle, etc.) beneficial
- Data modelling, dimensional modelling, and working with large datasets a plus
- Experience working with business teams to translate functional requirements into technical requirements, experience within insurance institutions is a plus
