Marketing analytics and attribution: see which marketing brings in work

We plan what to measure, set up tracking that respects consent, and trace every lead from its first click through your CRM to the revenue it becomes. Then the budget goes to the channels that bring in revenue.

Trusted by clients from global brands to local charities

Sound familiar?

Every platform says it's working. Your sales figures don't always agree.

Each ad platform counts its own conversions, the website analytics count something else, and the CRM rarely knows where a customer came from. So budget decisions get made on whichever number looks best.

  • The ad platform says it's converting. Sales hasn't noticed.

  • We can't tell which channel brings the good leads.

  • Our tracking broke when the cookie banner went in.

  • We report clicks because that's all we can measure.

Systems applied to the numbers

Follow every lead from the first click to the deal

When tracking and the CRM are joined up, each customer comes with their story: the ad, the article, the email and the page that finally made them get in touch. Add up those stories and you know which marketing earns its keep.

  • Where they came from

The first touch and every one after it.

  • What they became

A lead, an opportunity, a customer.

  • What they were worth

Revenue counted against the channel that found them.

How the measurement fits together

Each step depends on the one before it, so we agree the plan before any tracking goes in.

What comes with a website, and what this adds

Every website we build comes with Google Analytics, Search Console and cookie consent set up. That tells you what's happening on the site.

Marketing reporting and attribution is the next step: what each channel is worth, traced through your CRM to revenue.

Questions about marketing reporting

  • Usually Google Analytics and Search Console, PostHog for behaviour and funnels, and your CRM for what happens after the enquiry.

  • No. It needs years of spend data most growing businesses don't have. Tracing leads into the CRM answers the same question more directly.

  • Yes. We set up consent properly and track within it, so the figures are honest about what they can and can't see.

  • If your CRM can store where a lead came from, yes. If it can't, we'll show you what would need to change.
